Despite speculations about Trisha opting out of the remake of 'Jab We Met' and Shriya being roped in, it is now confirmed that Trisha will be doing the role of Kareena Kapoor in the Tamil version.
Confirming this, the actress who is in Hyderabad now said that she will be acting in the movie. “But other details are yet to be finalised, including the director,”
She added. But this movie, according to Trisha, will take some time to shoot as she has other commitments now, including 'Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam' and 'Sarvam' to do in Kollywood. Meanwhile, it now seems like Dhanush,who is currently working on 'Padikkadhavan', is not likely to do 'Jab We Met', and any other hero might be roped in to play Shahid’s role.
Dhanush has also signed up for another movie with Shriya as his pair.
