“The film is like a folk tale narrated by our grandparents. It sounded like an experiment to me. I agreed to do it immediately when I was asked. The producer and director are so passionate about the film and I predicted its success,” the actress says.
Heaping laurels on Viswanathan, she says, “He is a skilled technician. He has in-depth knowledge in visual effects and other technical nuances. I feel proud to work in his direction.”
Namitha played the role enacted by Jeyamalini in the original of the same title directed by Vittalacharya.
