Kamal Haasan's next Movie ‘500 BC’ Lord Buddha’s tooth!

Universal star Kamal Haasan who recently entertains the audience with 'Eenadu' has now stepped into another magnum opus. It is known that the film is based on a historic tale and is said to be titled as '500 BC'. Mysskin is going to direct this film. The movie is set during the time of the Lord Buddha. Currently the script of the flick is going on. It learnt that the story revolves around the lost tooth of Lord Buddha. The film will be shot in the forests of Sri Lanka.

The film is based on Lord Buddha’s tooth that still remains in a Temple in Sri Lanka. There is a popular belief that the land in which the tooth is housed would flourish and due to this there was a severe competition among the kings and wars ensued killing scores of people. This tooth was originally with the Kalinga Kings and after several wars it had finally landed in Sri Lanka
