Finally, some director has decided Namitha has more to show, er.., in terms of her acting skills. Having cast her in 'Indira Vizha', director Rajeshwar explains that the role Namitha plays is that pivotal that she is actually the one who takes the story forward. The movie is produced by ANKK Movies.
'Indira Vizha' features Srikanth, Namitha and Hemamalini. Malavika, who was supposed to do yet another important role had backed out and discussions are still on about the person to replace her.
Coming back to Nams, she plays an important role, that of a girl who firmly believes in what she thinks and would go any extent to prove it. Earlier, news about a song in which Namitha sizzles with a python had generated a lot of interest in the movie. Now, it’s about her role. “The story line deals with sensitive gender issues. But it’s not judgemental,” the director clarifies.
