Tamanna started her film career through a Hindi film called Chand Sa Roshan Chehra at the age of 13 years and made her debut in Tamil film industry with Kedi which did not do well at the box office. Her debut film in Telugu is Sri in which she played the leading female role opposite Manoj Kumar.Presently she is gaining popularity as a heroine in both Tollywood and Kollywood industries. Her recent movie Kalloori did average business at the box-office. However, she was appreciated by the audience for the simple yet realistic portrayal of her role. Her Role in her recent movie Happy Days in Telugu brought her huge success in Tollywood.
