Sreenivasan and Meena are considered to be the most lucky pairs in Malayalam film industry. Both the films that featured them in the lead were super hits at the box office. Remember both the films Udayananu Tharam and Katha Parayumbol, that made excellent run at the box office. Though in the film Udayananu Tharam, Mohanlal is the hero but there were sequences of both Sreenivasan and Meena in together that contributed to the film's success.It is to be noted that now the popular pair is back in Katha Sumvidhanam Kunchacko, directed by Haridas Kesavan. In the film Sreenivasan plays the central character of Kunchacko, a self made millionaire who made it from nowhere. The film that is written by Dennis Joseph is made under the banner of Marvel Productions and is being distributed by Time Ads. Music department of the film is handled by M Jayachandran.
Kunchacko, the character played by Sreenivasan has a large family of brothers, sister and brother in law Ganesh, Prem Kumar, Sudhish, Sona Nair and Lakshmi Priya, who live off him.
Kunchacko due to his empire building had no time to get married. One day he surprises everybody by marrying Ann Mary played by Meena, and everything changes. Others in the cast are Jagathy, Nedumudi Venu and Siddique.
