Fazil, one of the notable directors of Malayalam film industry is back in direction after a gap of about 4 years. Dileep is doning the lead role in this film and it is for the first time that Dileep and Fazil are teaming together for a film. This new movie by Fazil which is titled as Mouse and Cat is considered to be a family drama filled with comedy, romance and sentiments.Fazil, who have introduced lots of new talents into acting is also launching a new heroine through this film, Aswathy. She is a final year student of St.Therasa College, Ernakulam, she is the only daughter of Ashok Kumar, an NRI working with Dammam Alliance Company and Anitha. Others in the cast are child artist Nivedita, Rahman,Jagathy, Harisri Asokhan, Manoj.K Jayan etc.
The director as well as the producer Johny Sagariga are planning to release the movie on April 14, for Vishu, but is likely to be postponed as election in Kerala is on April 16. Veteran director Fazil, is considered as a trend setter in Mollywood and also he had been able to redo every equation that survived in the Mollywood commercial cinema. Let's wait and see whether things will happen same for the director again.
