New malayalam Movie Yodha 2 confirmed,! Mohanlal- Jagathy pair to come back

Yodha was a superhit malayalam movie which was made way back in 1992 under the direction of Santhosh Sivan which features superstar Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar in pivotal roles and shot in the picturesque locations of Nepal is ready for a second homecoming. Yodha 2 is in the anvil and plans are being made to make a sequel at the earliest.

Santhosh Sivan is planning to come back to the Malayalam film industry through this sequel. Yodha was not only a blockbuster success but also a movie which was novel in many ways. As per the sources Mohanlal has already allocated the dates for this movie.

As per the story part, the sequel will start off from where the prequel had ended. Puneet Issar, who had essayed the villain’s roles will be seen in the sequel also. This big budgest movie is expected to rope in Lakshmi Rai as the heroine as against Urvashi and Madhubala who had played the heroines in Yodha . Harris Jayraj would score the music for the sequel and Santhosh Sivan would weild the camera. The rocking Jagathy-Mohanlal team is back and lets wait for it.

Chandra Haasan is currently acting in Payanangal Mudivathillai and Kumari Penin Ullathile. Chandra Haasan is studying Aeronautical Engineering in a private college in the suburbs of Chennai.

I have acted in the child hood roles of the heroes in the films like Varnajalam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Perarasu, Saravana and Manin Mainthan. I am studying Aeronautical Engineering because my mother was interested.
I am donning the role of a bus conductor in the film Payanangal Mudivathillai directed by S V Raja. I fall in love with a college student who travels in the bus. Swetha has donned the role of a college student. The shooting of the film is taking place in Guddiyataham. I am donning the role of a school student in another film titled Kumari Penin Ulathile. Kishore is directing this film. This film is a romantic one. I am hopeful that these films will give me a identity once these films are released.”

Sangeetha while speaking to the media said,” The shooting of Nan Avan Illai Part 2 is over. The post production work is going on.
This film will also have all the commercial entertainment ingredients like the Part 1. I will be in this film right from the beginning to the end. In Telugu I am acting in a film titled Srimathi Kalyanam.
Apart from this I am also acting in an untitled film directed by Rama Narayanan. Earlier actresses used to get lot of offers. But these days most of the actresses are missing after acting in a single film. The reason is they have no time to know about cinema or to learn about acting. If their first film is not successful, these actresses are sidelined saying that they are unlucky. So it is better for a person to learn about cinema before acting in a film. Then only it is possible to sustain in the film industry.”

Tamil actor Vijay not to join political party for now89

The Congress party's effort to attract star value to its Tamil Nadu unit received a setback with leading Tamil film hero Vijay declaring Sunday he did not intend to join politics in the near future.

'I have decided not to join any political party for now. In future I will join hands with a party in power that works for the welfare of Tamils across the world,' Vijay told reporters here.

Speculation was rife in the state about the actor joining the Congress after his meeting with party general secretary Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi last month. It was expected that he would formally join the party during Gandhi's three-day Tamil Nadu tour last week.

Earlier, he had converted his fan club into a people's movement - Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.

Vijay, 35, is still not out of top hero list in the Tamil movie field and seems to have decided to focus on his movie career for the time being.

Vijay's next movie 'Vettaikaran' slated for Diwali release has been purchased by Sun Pictures belonging to Kalanidhi Maran, grand nephew of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi.

'Endhiran' climax shoot begins81

The shooting of the climax scenes of Shankar's 'Endhiran, the Robot' has begun. The mega budget science fiction film, starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead, is 95 per cent complete and the remaining portion will be shot in Prasad studio in Chennai this week, our sources say.

A portion of the climax was canned at the Siruseri IT Expressway last week. In it, a set worth Rs 50 lakh made by Sabu Syril was destroyed by the robot as he took on his rivals. In the next portion, a huge set erected at Prasad studio will go up in flames, it is reported. Latest fire fighting techniques will be used for the scene. Aishwarya will be attending the second half of the climax shoot.

Once the shooting is complete, Shankar will need another six to seven months to complete post production works
