Trisha is now going to campaign for Congress. This is the hottest news that is bringing jitters for PRP and TDP groups. Jeevitha is contesting from Musheerabad and jayasudha is tentatively getting Secundrabad ticket. As many other film artists are stepping to contest from various places, now Congress is serious on adding more glamour for the party and its campaign. Hence it has freshly hired Trisha by paying around Rs 2 Cr for a 20 day call sheet. She has signed on the agreement and will be readying to campaign.
On the other hand Nagarjuna said it seems that he is not going to campaign physically but will be making all his fans to support Congress.
Now many more heroines are also conveying their open mindedness to campaign for Congress following Trisha. We have to see who else would join the wagon.

Asin- The sensation of Indian Cinema!

Asin Thottumkal (born October 26, 1985) is an Indian film actress from the state of Kerala. She is currently considered to be one of the most popular actresses in the South Indian film industry.
Making her acting debut in Sathyan Anthikkad's Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka (2001), Asin had her first commercial success with Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi in 2003, and won a Filmfare Award for the Best Telugu Actress for the film.
After a number of films, she received her second South Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in her second Tamil film, Ghajini (2005). She played the lead female roles in hits, Ghajini (2005) which is her biggest commercial success to date, and the action comedy Varalaru (2006). More recently, Asin made her début in Bollywood, with Ghajini, the remake of its Tamil namesake, subsequently winning the Filmfare Best Hindi Debut Award.

Tamil actress Trisha, who has lots of admirers in Kerala, finally gets ready to make her entry into Malayalam Cinema.
Trisha’s debut in Malayalam will be with a B. Unnikrishnan-directed movie. B. Unnikrishnan, who is now directing the Suresh Gopi-starrer ‘I.G’, will go on to do this film after shoot for ‘I.G’ is over.
The new film, in which Trisha will play the female lead role, will have Suresh Gopi starring opposite to her. The film will be produced by P. Rajan under the banner of Vaishakha Films and is likely to start rolling by September this year, as per reports.

Suriya is back with ‘Ayan’, and how! As a super hero, a complete contrast from the real life inspired ‘Varanam Aayiram’, his previous film. Suryas latest flick Ayan reached theatres last week and getting good responses.As per the initial reports the fil will be a superhit.Thamanna is the heroine of Suriya in the movie.Produced by AVM and presented by Sun Pictures, the movie has magical moments enthralling audience.

A macho-man story, ‘Ayan’ is a perfect summer entertainer. Though the storyline is familiar and oft-seen in the past, the pacy narration and captivating visuals provide the necessary pep to the film.In this film Suriya, proved his credentials as a versatile actor doing varied roles untill recently, has taken a litmus test of doing a mass commercial hero in ‘Ayan’.

The striking feature of the movie is Suriya’s amazing screen-presence. He is right there delivering his best. Be it romance, action or comedy, Suriya is at his crackling form serving the very basic purpose of purpose of entertaining the masses.In the film Suriya is doing the role of Deva a typical youth.His mother (Renuka) aspires that her son would join government service. Pursuing his post graduate course, Deva instead works for Das (Prabhu), who runs a smuggling racket.

A shrewd Deva is a carrier of smuggled articles bringing from abroad everything including pirated CDs of newly-released movies to diamonds without getting caught by customs officials. However Kamalesh (Akashdeep Saigal), who runs a similar racket in the locality, starts to give nightmare for both Das and Deva. Keen to topple them, Kamalesh goes to any extremes. Das entrusts Deva with a job to smuggle diamonds from Congo. Intervenes Kamalesh. He sends his man to make Deva’s mission unsuccessful. But eventually he fails. Meanwhile, Deva falls in love with Yamuna (Tamannah), sister of Chitti’s (Jagan), who also works for Das.

Their rivalry hots up and a turn of events leads to Kamalesh bumping off Das. Deva goes on revenge mode. They sort out their enmity in the barren lands of Congo and a surprise awaits Suriya in the form of Narcotics Bureau chief Parthiban (Ponvannan) after he returns to the country.

Suriyas onscreen chemistry with Tamannah is good. Amazing to see Suriya performing acrobatic stunt sequences, who has been hitherto considered as a 'performing' actor. His dedication and involvement could be seen in every frame.Tamannah is equally appealing. Though she has no major role to play besides a couple of songs including one in alien land, she is convincing. Prabhu as Das is apt fit for the role.

I prefer you to watch the movie in theatres.

Ananda Thandavam Review!

Years back, Writer Sujatha crafted a beautiful novel that had best essence of romantic drama. But now, when it comes to adaption, there seems to be few aspects missing, especially in terms of screenplay. At this point, many filmmakers fail to distinguish between presenting a novel and film before the viewers. But don’t take the film to be so bad. We’re sure you would like the sharp characterizations that many amongst us would keep reflecting with them. No one is good, none are bad, but both the natures exist within everyone.
You’ve everything about love and kindness in this film. A guy dying for a girl who isn’t so serious about her life, a dad caring like a friend for his son, a careless parent on the other end whose wrong decisions leave their heir so distressed; there are more coalesces over here.
The film opens with Ragupathi (Siddarth), a talented engineering graduate, yet unemployed. His lovable father (Kitty) is moreover like a friend for him and keeps advising for his best to which Raghu doesn’t listen to his advice. Raghu falls in love with Madhumitha (Thamannah) whose parents have no objections for getting the young lad and missy married. At the point, when their engagement rings are exchange, everything drifts as Radhakrishnan (Rishi) working Mackintosh of US brainwashes the entire family and gets married with Madhumitha. Unable to bear the pain, Raghu attempts for suicide and gets saved. More convinced by his caring father, he flees to United States for higher studies where he meets a girl Rathna (Rukmani). Despites born in America sans a single visit to India, she’s more adhered to eastern cultural ethics. They get more good along with each other and finally decide to marry at Pittsburgh temple. At this point of time, Raghu and Madhumitha encounter each other and their strong likeliness for each other evoke again. But, everything isn’t sweet as you expect in an unimaginable climax…
Every best credits goes to Writer Sujatha for a brilliant story. But Gandhi Krishna could’ve focused a bit on penning a gripping screenplay. Thamannah does a splendiferous job through the film, especially in the climax sequence. It doesn’t look like Siddharth’s debut performance and Rishi has decently acted. Rukmani though appears in second half, she does justice to her characterization.
Musical Score by G.V. Prakash embellishes the screens with a decorous cinematography by Jeeva Shankar. Dialogues by Sujatha are excellent and sharper at many extents. They are more philosophical and few are strong to accept yet wins applause. Editing is as distracting as it isn’t carried through with perfection.
On the whole, ‘Ananda Thandavam’ has a good lovable story from Sujatha’s novel ‘Pirivoam Sandipoam’. The first half may be liked by few groups while it’s catering to the masses in the latter part. Gandhi Krishna could’ve worked yet more stunningly for a gripping work.

Pasanga - tamil movie review!

Subramaniyapuram was one of the box office hit for 3 months when it was released. After the success of its debut venture “Subramaniapuram”, Company Productions have come up with another lovely film in “Pasanga” (children).
Debutant director Pandiraj has exhibited a sound understanding over the medium and has extracted work of high quality from his star cast dominated by adolescents.
Set in a rural setting of a government run school, the movie deals with the pangs of growing up and puppy love narrated with oodles of humour.
A young school bully Jeeva (Sriram) is surprised by the spunk in a new classmate Anbu (Kishore) who has shifted to the government-owned school from a private institution following his father’s downturn in fortunes.
The studious Anbu goes on to win the heart of the bully’s sister played by Keerthana and the entire class with his helping nature in solving problems - within and beyond the curriculum.
And then there is the adult love interest in the form of trysts between Anbu’s uncle Meenakshisundaram (Vimal) and Jeeva’s elder sibling and school teacher (portrayed brilliantly by Vega).
The mix of characters established through a neat screenplay in different shades and shapes are neatly bound together during the simple but moving climax leaving a lovable lump in the throat.
Vega has improved tremendously after her first outing. The rest of the cast - all real life schoolchildren - are splendid amidst the rustic background filmed wonderfully by Prem Kumar.
James Vasanthan excels through his musical score, according a nice feel to the proceedings. A song by veteran crooner M. Balamuralikrishna is a feather in an otherwise crowded cap.

Kanthasamy for July 10th!

Vikram's upcoming movie Kanthasamy, is confimed for this july 10th. The film has been shooting for the last two years. This Superhero movie is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and directed by Susi Ganesan. Shriya Saran is the heroine of the movie. The music of the Movie Kanthasamy were released early this month.

Kanthasamy is a superman like story with a logical twist. Fantasy and realism are mixed in the story to make it a commercial entertainer. Vikram got to fame by his heartbreaking performances in films like Sethu, Dil, Dhool, Gemini, Anniyan and Pithamagan but now he is in such a situation that he badly needs a hit since his last two outings Majaa and Bheema were total wash out at the box office.

You all will be still remembering that the film was launched with a lot of fanfare including a trailer more than two years back. According to the makers, the delay was due to the time taken for the shoot of the film. Now the film that was completed in a whooping budget of 70 crores, will finally reach the theatres by 10th of July. Here is the most voluptuary affair in tinsel town. The reveling tunes of Aayirathil Oruvan were unveiled last evening at University Centenary Hall, Madras University Campus. Tamil Movie - Nadodigal Review!

For the past so many films there is not much story specified on it. Then it had came. The one with a good story and it was Subramaniapuram. Another colossal piece of show from Subramaniapuram team. Best on best takes; ‘Nadodigal’ is a decorous flick of the season. Believe us! The audiences are brimmed with applause and whistle from the beginning till end of this show. The film’s script is so simple and the ingredients added by Samuthirakani top notches. Samuthirakani doesn’t go for adding any heroism, unwanted commercial elements. Of course, the film has laughter, emotions, sentiments, tragedies, action-packed thrillers.
The film is about Karuna (Sasi Kumar) and his friends Chandran (Vijay Vasanth), Pandian (Bharani) who leads a happy life. They’ve their own encounters of jovial life and everything turns topsy-turvy once Karuna’s friend Saravanan seeks for his aid in joining hands with his ladylove. With Saravanan’s mother being an Ex-MP and girl’s dad a bigwig in Namakkal, oppositions are harder. However, Karuna and his friends set the things right by getting the marriage done for lovers. But things aren’t going to be worst as they unexpected.
Watch the rest on screens that will get you enthralled all over the show.
Samuthirakani does a brilliant work on screenplay with first half completely brimmed with laughter and jolliness while latter part on different scenarios. However, soon as the latter half commences, there’s a sudden drift in pace. No issues! You’ve got to watch it on grounds of reality. Sasi Kumar spells the best on his show on emoting to every situation. Although, Vijay Vasanth has a limited space to showcase, he excels. Bharani steals the show with his humorous and yet emotional piece of acting. Abhinaya and Anaya have good presence on the screen.
Musical score by Sundar C Babu is average. Nevertheless, both the versions of ‘Sambo Siva Sambo’ are fantastic and cinematography is prodigiously done. Dialogues are catchy and you’ll witness the feedbacks for it more in penultimate sequences.
On the whole, ‘Nadodigal’ is a must watch film that has good theme on backdrops and yet entertainingly presented.

Vijay Vettaikaran Set Fire – Rs.3 Cr Loss!

The sets of Vijay-starrer 'Vettaikkaran' was partially gutted in a big fire that broke out on at the AVM studios, Chennai, in the early morning hours Friday.



Friday was not a good day for 'Ilayadhalapathi' Vijay.During the shooting of his new film'Vettaikaran',the set was accidentally damaged by fire.The film was being shot in the AVM Studios and an expensive set, costing around Rs. 3 crores, was erected for the purpose. A few scenes were shot at the sets but then the unfortunate accident occured.With this, the shooting of Vettaikaran has suffered a set back apart from the huge losses incurred by the team.

The film is directed by Babu Sivan and produced by AVM Productions.Vijay's heroine is the sexy hot tamil actress Anushka.The film’s shooting is in progress in the AVM studios at Vadapalani.

More than ten fire trucks came to the spot and fire fighters tried their maximum to control the fire. But the fire spreads to the 6th floor and the set is completely destroyed. After a big struggle the fire fighters brought back the situation in control.In the investigation,it was reported that electrical damage is the cause of the fire.

'Kandhasamy' to release only! on August 21

'Kandhasamy', the most eagerly awaited film of the year, will be released only on August 21, said the producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.

Chiyaan Vikram and Shriya are playing the lead roles. As per sources, this film would be of Indian version of “Robin Hood” type of movies.In telugu,the film is named "Mallana" as this film is produced trilingual ,that is in tamil,telungu and kannada.The crew had spent nearly Rs 15,000 for every single invitation for the official launch of the movie. The electronic invitation made in china was the main attraction among the guests at the time of launch.

Devi sri prasad is the music composer of the film and its abig one for Devi.Director Susi planned to shoot the film in Kenya but due to local problems in Kenya the cast and crew went on to Mexico to suit major song sequences. The Mexican locations will be new to Tamil film fans. Indrajith, elder brother of Hero actor Prithviraj, playing the Villain role and it would be an added advantage to the film as Tamil fans seeing the same Villains for years.

The mega entertainer, starring Vikram and Shriya Saran in the lead, was supposed to hit theatres August 15.The Susi Ganesan movie, in which Vikram plays a super hero, has been made at a budget exceeding Rs 60 crore and it has taken more than two years to complete the film. Now, it is learnt that a little more patch work is left to be finished.

The new tamil movie Kanthswamy is all set to release in theatres and as per the latest schedule the movie will hit the theatres by this August 21st. So here i am sharing the preview of the movie Kanthaswamy with you. The movie is directed by Susi Ganesan, the film with Vikram and Shriya in lead roles is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The movie has musical score by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Ekambaram.

The movie kanthaswamy is based on the story which is about a Robinhood-type of man who goes about providing justice to the poor and needy. It is a movie with a purpose without any compromise in the entertainment factor. Besides playing the lead role, Vikram has sung all songs in the movie. On his part, Vikram says, “All credit should go to Susi Ganesan. He got out the best from everyone involved in the movie. It is an out-and-out Susi show with all of us giving our inputs to it”.

Thanu, who completes his silver jubilee year in filmdom, says, “Kanthaswamy has come at an appropriate time. I am happy to have been associated with a talented director like Susi and a multi-faceted actor like Vikram. Everything is grandeur in the movie”.
