Roma made her entry into films with the Malayalam movie Notebook became very popular after the success of her debut film. For her performance in Notebook she was awarded Best Newcomer in various ceremonies . Her second film July 4 (2007) was a flop, but her performance in the movie was appreciated. Her movie Chocolate (2007) with Prithviraj was a big hit, and this movie is definitely a turning point in her career. Her latest film in Malayalam was Colors with Dileep. She has also acted in the Telugu movie Mr. Errababu (2005)and tamil movie Kathale En Kathale (2006). And her debut Kannada movie is Aramane(2007) starring Ganesh in the lead.

Bhavana is one of the beautiful actress in the south Indian film Industry. She came thorugh the malayalam film industry and now part of the south indian film industry.She debuted in Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers like Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She has acted with almost all actors of Malayalam including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya etc. Then in 2003, she became the part of big hit movies like Chronic Bachelor, C.I.D.Moosa, Swapnakoodu etc.In 2004 her career turned dim. Her movies like Youth Festival, Parayam, Bunglavil Outha etc bombed at the box-office. She appeared in an Item Number in the film Runway in 2004. Her career was not a successful one in 2004. She got the State Awardfor Best Character Actress for Daivanamathil in 2006. In 2006 she acted only two films. Chinthamani Kolacase, Chess were the films and were successes. Her latest movie Chotta Mumbai is hit with top Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal.
Though she got several Tamil films she refused them due to tight schedules. Her first Tamil film originally offered was Koodal Nagar opposite Bharath but shelved due to some technical difficulties, but completed and released recently in April 2007. Her first released Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi was a huge success. After that she did many tamil films. All of the turned out to be flop lik Kizakku Kadharku Salai, Arya, Vazhtugal etc. He got an average hit through her latest release Jayam Kondaan. Mean time she debuted in Tolly wood with a flop, Ontari. Her second film Hero also crashed at the box office. She now returned to Malayalam afte 1 year. Her new movie Lollypop turned out to be one of the most dissapointing movie of the year. She is now awaiting the relase of her new nalayalam Movie Sagar Elias Jackey with Mohanlal. Some movies like Casanova and another one with Prithviraj are on the Pipeline.

Jayasurya's new Malayalam film!

Jayasurya, the upcoming star in Malayalam film industry is currently happy in the way that his latest release Ivar Vivahitharayal has become a hit. This film is now considered as the greatest ever solo hit of the star. After the success of this film, Jayasurya is now busy with lots of new offers coming in his way.

The latest one that he had signed is a film titled as Uttaraswayamvaram, which will be directed by debutant Ramakanth Sarju, a former associate of Anil Babu. Roma will play Jayasurya's lady love in this film. Jayasurya is romantically paired with Roma for the third time after Minnaminikootam and Shakespeare MA Malayalam.

This new film, scripted by J Pallasserry and produced by Santosh Pavithram, will have music scored by M Jayachandran. This new Jayasurya starrer will narrate the story of a young man Prakash a Pre-Degree drop out who falls in love with Uttara, the daughter of a rich man in a village.

Apart from the lead pairs, this new film also features Balachandra Menon, Laloo Alex, Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Harisri Ashokan, Indrans, Bijukuttan etc in the film, that will start it's shoot in Ottapalam from July 15. This film will also be shot in Chennai and Bangalore.

Roma to Start in Kollywood with a Negative role.!

Roma is a sexy malayalam actress who has done many good malayalam films. Now the latest news about Roma is that she is all set to start in kollywood. Her debut kollywood film is ‘Vanjikottai Valiban’ and she is doing a negative role in the movie.

In the movie ‘Vanjikottai Valiban’ , P Vasu’s son Shakthi plays the lead in this film, and is being paired with popular Malayalam actress Roma. Sadhaga Paravaigal Ramesh, who is known for his live performances in light music concerts, will be launched as a music director. Bollywood cinematographer Gopi cranks the camera in the film.

Krithika and Bhagavath Singh under the banner Gandharva Celluloid Creators producing the movie and SK Jeeva, who has earlier directed Karthik’s ‘Lovely’ and Parthipan’s ‘Pudhumaipithan’, returns after a long time with this film.

Uthara Swayamvaram Movie Photogallery!

After Dr. Patient, Currency and Ivar Vivaahitharayal, Jayasurya's next film is Ramakanth Sarju directed Uthara Swayamvaram. The film is produced under the banner of Pavithram Creations by Santosh Pavithram. It is shot in Ottappalam and has Roma as the lead actress. This is the second time audiences will see Roma and Jayasuriya together on screen after Shakespeare MA Malayalam, which was a hit.

As the title indicates, `Uthara Swayamvaram', directed by Ramakanth Sarju, is about the love affair between Prakash and Uthara.

Prakash (Jayasurya), a good-for-nothing fellow, accidentally saves the life of Uthara (Roma) and falls headlong in love with her.

The supporting cast includes Lalu Alex, Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Biju Kuttan, Balachandra Menon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shobha Mohan and Sukumari. M. Jaya Chandran scores the music and Salu George wields the camera.

The last time Jayasurya and Roma paired up was for 'Shakespeare MA Malayalam'. The film was a moderate hit.
