A portion of the climax was canned at the Siruseri IT Expressway last week. In it, a set worth Rs 50 lakh made by Sabu Syril was destroyed by the robot as he took on his rivals. In the next portion, a huge set erected at Prasad studio will go up in flames, it is reported. Latest fire fighting techniques will be used for the scene. Aishwarya will be attending the second half of the climax shoot.
Once the shooting is complete, Shankar will need another six to seven months to complete post production works
He was speaking to media persons at a function in Tiruchy where a CD on the superstar, titled 'Makkal Manam Kavarndha Mannan', was released.
Rao made it clear that Rajni was totally focussed on the Shankar movie at hand and once it was over, he was sure to make an announcement on his much delayed entry into politics.
The speculations about Rajni's political entry has been going on for years. Some of his films had dialogues signifying his political ambitions. The fans of the superstar have been frustrated and even angry at his hesitation to take the plunge into politics.
Though the shooting of the film would be over in a month's time, the post production works will need months of hard work to get completed.
For the science fiction film, starring Rajnikanth in a double role, Shankar is using 'animatronics', a technology commonly applied in Hollywood to bring to life gigantic creatures such as dinosaurs, gorillas and anacondas. This is the first time that this technique is being used in an Indian film.
Recently, Rajnikanth has said at a function that 'Endhiran' would be released in December this year.
