'Endhiran' climax shoot begins81

The shooting of the climax scenes of Shankar's 'Endhiran, the Robot' has begun. The mega budget science fiction film, starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead, is 95 per cent complete and the remaining portion will be shot in Prasad studio in Chennai this week, our sources say.

A portion of the climax was canned at the Siruseri IT Expressway last week. In it, a set worth Rs 50 lakh made by Sabu Syril was destroyed by the robot as he took on his rivals. In the next portion, a huge set erected at Prasad studio will go up in flames, it is reported. Latest fire fighting techniques will be used for the scene. Aishwarya will be attending the second half of the climax shoot.

Once the shooting is complete, Shankar will need another six to seven months to complete post production works
