Meena debuted in films at the age of nine, in 1982, and literally grew up under the arc lights.
She ruled the Nineties' Kollywood with a certain charisma and verve, and shared some quality screen space with all the superstars of the decade.
Meena turns 36 on September 16, 2009. This b'day is of special importance to her for she has been signed up to do 'Vidaathey Pidi', which is going to be her first movie, post-marriage.
