‘Aa Ante Amalapuram’ in ‘Aarya’ was as frothy ‘Appadi Podu’ from Ghilli. Not alone in AP and Tamil Nadu, these songs happen to be evergreen anthem amongst Dilliwalas and Mumbaikars. As in reality, the Bollywood celebrities have danced for the songs as they felt them to be invigorating the spirits.
‘Aa Ante Amalapuram’ is a song pictured more similar to ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ in ‘Dil Se’ and the same tune is reported to have been inserted with Dhanush’s ‘Kutty’ since director Jawahar and Dhanush felt that it has more scope for the dance. Buzzes are that two other tunes have been retained from the original versions.
