Directors’ association in secret meeting! Maniratnam too attends???

The directors’ association meeting that happened recently in Mahabalipuram was an absolute hush-hush affair. This meeting saw Director Barathiraja, R.K.Selvamani, Ameer and the complete set of office bearers. Apart from them all, a rare member made his presence too was Manirathnam. Barathraja had invited Manirathram in person for this meet, say the sources.

There were two main reasons for this meeting. One was to discuss the issue of assistant director Balamurugan who was acting againstthe association in a few matters. As Balamaurugan was fired from the union, he filed a lawsuit against the association. The court recently ordered for an explanation from the union in this regard.

As a result, the directors’ association climbed down decided to take back Balamaurugan into the union fold and has plans to request the assistant director to withdraw the case.

The second reason for this meet is to discuss how to have an own place for the association. They have already appealed to the State Government regarding this and everything seems to be going in the right path, say the sourses. They have also decided to hold entertainment events to earn funds to build their buildings at the earliest.
