Tamanna started her film career with a Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra at 15. She made her debut in Tamil film industry along with Ileana In Kedi which did not do well at the box office. Her debut film in Telugu is Sri in which she played the leading female role opposite Manoj Kumar.
Her Telugu film Happy Days brought her huge success. In Tamil, the movie "Kalloori" won her accolades and critical acclaim. Her Tamil project Ayan is a blockbuster which helped her to gain fame and establish her career as a leading actress.Now she is doing lots and ots of roles in tamil and ther film industries also.
