Kavya returns !as 'yakshi' in 'Maadan Kolli'

Kavya Madhavan, said to be on the verge of a divorce with husband Nishal Chandra, has signed up for Major Ravi's 'Maadan Kolli'. Major Ravi directs this horror movie; Prithviraj will be the hero.

This is a new theme to the malayalam film industry starring the upcoming superstar Prithviraj and directed by Major Ravi.Kavya's role is that of an IPS officer who investigates a murder case during day time and turns into a blood-thirsty 'yakshi' at night.

According to Major Ravi,this would surely be a challenge for Kavya and only she could do justice to the role, the director said.

Prithviraj plays an exorcist, Devadathan Narsimhan, in the movie. Kavya and Prithviraj had starred in 'Ananthabhadram', a film by Santhosh Sivan in the backdrop of black magic.

'Maadan Kolli' is scheduled to start shooting in December.
