Tamil Superstar Ajith, popularly known as Thala is now totally concentrating on his upcoming film Asal. This new film is Ajith's 49th venture and the actor is trying all his level best to make this movie a memorable one. Since his last outing, Aegan with Nayan Thara was a dud at the box office, Ajith have to deliver a hit in all manner.This new Ajith starrer will be directed by the hit maker Saran, who had earlier made hit films like Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam with the same actor. Saran will be aiming for a fourth hit in a row with Ajith in the lead. This film will be produced by actor Prabhu under the banner of Sivaji Productions. Sameera Reddy is fixed to play the lady lead in this film.
It was originally speculated that Mamta would play the second heroine role in this movie but now it's hearing that another mallu girl Bhavana have been chosen by the makers. Earlier Shriya was also offered this role but she declined as she had other projects as heroine lined up. Shooting for the film will begin this month and the director has already finalized his locations for the same.
