Kamal Hassan, SRK dub for Pazhassiraja!!!

Kamal Hassan has dubbed a prologue for Mammootty’s MT Vasudevan Nair written Hariharan directed magnum opus Pazhassi Raja in Tamil and Shah Rukh Khan has dubbed for it in Hindi.

The film is a historical on Pazhassi Raja played by Mammootty, a native king of Wynad in Malabar area of Kerala. He is said to be one of the first freedom fighters who started a guerilla war against the British.

Tamil actor Sarath Kumar makes his Malayalam debut playing Edachena Kunkan, Pazhassi Raja’s ‘Thalapathy’ (Commander in Chief).

Remember it was Mohanlal who introduces Pazhassi Raja to the audiences through a 45 second prologue in the Malayalam original.

In the Tamil version Kamal Hassan did the prologue while Shah Rukh Khan does it in Hindi.

Says one of the producers of the film Gokulam Praveen: “ Kamal sir knew the subject and he is a fan of MT Vasudevan Nair one of the greatest writers in India. In the Tamil version Jayamohan the famous Tamil writer is translating MT’s dialogues. Kamal sir went out of his way to accommodate us when we requested him to dub the prologue. His introductory voice over has made the film richer.”

The 'Princess' Shruti Haasan!

Shruti Haasan, is the daughter of our own 'Ulaga nayakan' himself, Kamal Haasan. She has been introduced into the Entertainment sector as an excellent singer, especially as a rock band singer. Mammootty to join hands with Kamal Hassan!

In another sort of a casting coup,Kamal Hassan and Mammootty, the best of the actors of the country and three time national award winners is expected to come together for a movie.

Kamal Hassan has already started meticulous efforts to buy the rights of the Hindi movie 'A Wednesday', a recent offbeat hit, to remake it in Tamil and Malayalam.

Kamal has also made plans to bring in Mammootty to do the role of a Police officer that Anupam kher did in the original. Kamal will act in the role of Naseerudeen shah, if all go as per plans.

Rumors are that Mammootty has already expressed his consent to enact the role, which will be of great interest for the fans of these great actors.

Kamal Hassan's Unnaipoloruvan started its shooting. Versatile actor Kamal Hassan has started shooting for his new bilingual film which is a remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi film “A Wednesday”.
Kamal Hassan’s production banner Raj Kamal has joined hands with Mumbai’s UTV Studios for this film.
Actor Chakri who had earlier worked in Kamal Hassan starrer “Sagara Sangamam” is making his debut as a director with this film.
Kamal Hassan’s daughter Shruthi Hassan will be composing the music of the film. Shruthi Hassan is a well known singer and actress, and she will be making her debut as a music director with this film.
It has been almost an year since Kamal Hassan has faced the camera after completing the shooting of the block buster “Dasavathaaram” which raked in more than Rs.250 crore worldwide.
Kamal Hassan has started shooting of his new bilingual film April 7 at Ramoji Film City near Hyderabad. The film is a remake of Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher starrer “A Wednesday” which became a surprise hit besides being critically appreciated.
The Telugu version of the film titled “Ee Nadu” will have Telugu film industry’s leading star Venkatesh playing the role of Anupam Kher. Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal will be essaying the same role in the Tamil film titled as “Unnaipol Oruvan”.
Kamal Hassan will be playing the role played by Naseeruddin Shah in both the versions of the film.

Shruthi Haasan has already debuted in films with 'Luck', opposite Imran Khan, And now, her younger sibling Akshara makes her entry into films as a choreographer.She will be composing the dance for the song "Vaanam Ellai Illai" in her father's 'Unnai Pol Oruvan'. There are reports that Shruthi will be directing the song. (The music for the film has been composed by Shruthi.)

'Unnai Pol Oruvan' is a remake of the Hindi hit, 'A Wednesday' by Neeraj Pandey. The film is being simultanaeously remade into Telugu as 'Eenadu'.
