Trisha not going from Tamil
The south Indian actress Trisha is set to make an emphatic entry in Bollywood with a film opposite Akshay Kumar. But she is not saying goodbye to the south industry that made her famous in the first place.
Ever since the news of Trisha’s Bollywood foray spread, there’s been a rumour that she’s bowing out of her south film ‘Aadukkalam’. The rumour further sparked the speculation that from now on Trisha will cut down on her south assignments drastically and do more Hindi films instead. But the actress has denied the gossip.
“I am not very ambitious to make it big in Bollywood,” clarified Trisha, adding that she’s doing the Hindi film because of her mentor Priyadarshan , who directed her first film. It was Priyadarshan who approached Trisha with the offer of acting with Akshay Kumar in the film to be produced by the actor himself.
Speaking about ‘Aadukkalam’ Trisha said she has no issues with the film’s director, actor or producer. It’s only date problems that are preventing her to commit to the project.
Trisha is also planning to complete the shooting and dubbing of her Telugu films with Gopichand and Venkatesh in a couple of months.
