Malayalam star Jayaram, who made a strong come back to Malayalam film industry after a span of about 4 years was the actual hero of 2008. His films like Twenty 20 and Veruthe Oru Bharya were bumber hits at the box office. He is now back into his stardom and has been offered with lots of new projects. His latest film will be Samastha Keralam P.O, directed by Bibin Prabhakar. This new movie will be this year's first major release on January 21st.The film is about a Gandhian Prabhakaran, a character played by Jayaram, with no political interests who questions the wrongs of both the ruling and the opposition parties in his own way. The script of the movie was handled by K Gireesh Kumar, who got to fame with the script of Veruthe Oru Bharya. There are two heroines in the movie, Priyanka, who starred in the hit Tamil film Veyyil and new comer Sera.
According to the makers of the film, the film is a complete family entertainer. ie, an entertainer with the backdrop of politics. The film which is produced by Howli Pottur, under the banner of Dream Team productions will also feature others in the cast like Janardhanan, Innocent, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salimkumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Kunjan and Chitra Shenoy.
