Renjith to act again!

Notable Script writer as well as director Renjith have turned himself into an actor very recently. Renjith is famous for his ever green record breakers with Mohanlal like Narasimham, Devasuram, Aaram Thampuran and Ravanaprabhu etc. Renjith started his acting career with recently released Gulmohar, which was directed by the popular director in Malayalam, Jayaraj.

He has also acted in his own movie Thirakatha, that featured Prithviraj and Priyamani in the lead. Both the roles performed by Renjith in these two films were well appreciated by the viewers. So he is now going to take acting as a serious one. He will be seen in the new film, Robinhood to be directed by veteran Joshy.

Also he is planning to play a pivital role in his own script for the film Loud Speaker featuring Mammootty in the lead and to be directed by Jayaraj. Renjith is also planning to start a film by his own, which will feature Mammootty in the lead and it is now titled as Palery Manikayam.

The next superstar?!

Well, he has been a real hot property for quite a while now and it was only a matter of time before Prithviraj was anointed a superstar. With the bumper opening of Puthiya Mugham, he has announced his true powers.

He has some huge hits like Chocolate, Classmates, Nandanam and Swapnakkoodu besides many others under his belt. But the credit for its success was attributed to other factors, like story, other stars or the directors! He was regarded as a star who is not one to ensure great initials as well.Prithviraj managed to win the hearts of the Malayalam film audience through his first film itself, especially that of female viewers. He had a definite edge over other younger heroes with his good looks- he was tall, had a good moustache and acting talent - he could do both action and romantic roles with panache.

He was still pursuing his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at the University of Tasmania, Australia when he entered the film world in 2002.

All these ofpast and Puthiya Mugham, an action-masala-entertainer has worked in his favour big time. Is this the new phase in his career? Well, we wish it is! Welcome to the big league, young man.
