The most veteran musician and Isai puyal called by the people, A.R. Rahman will be honoured as a "Doctorate" by Middlesex University, United Kingdom in the coming official ceremony on July 2009, since he has been received "Twin Oscars" for the movie "Slumdong Millionaire". The University officials met A.R. Rahman in chennai and put forward his University's intent to award him the honour.
