The Pound fell on Friday against the Dollar for the first time after rising in the last five days. GBP/USD failed to hold above 1.6300 and tumbled to 1.6206. The pair then recovered to end the week above 1.6250. Cable closed the week with an increase of 200 pips and at the highest level in a month.The Pound also rose against the Euro. EUR/GBP tumbled to 0.8805, reaching the lowest price September 13, but finished the day above 0.8830.
To the Yen, Cable fell for the second week in a row, but at a moderate pace. GBP/JPY found resistance at 150.00 and pulled back to 147.15. The pair continues to move without a clear trend.
