Before Lost kicks off its final season (Tuesday, Feb. 2, 9/8c, ABC), we're flashing back to May 2009 to remember where all of our favorite characters left off — and predict what might happen next.
BENJAMIN LINUS (Michael Emerson) and JOHN LOCKE (Terry O'Quinn)
Where We Left Off: Locke asked Ben to kill Jacob — and he did. Meanwhile, Ilana revealed to Richard that Locke's corpse was discovered in the cargo hold of Ajira 315, meaning that the mysterious Man in Black is posing as John Locke.
What's Next: Well, for John Locke, nothing, since we know now that he's dead. We'll learn more about the relationship between Jacob and the Man in Black, for which simple terms like good and evil don't seem to suffice. Ben, who was once the show's biggest villain, becomes a pawn in a larger game. (Wait until he sees Locke's corpse!)
Burning Questions: What is the Man in Black/Un-Locke's plan? Is the Man in Black also the Smoke Monster? Will Ben seek redemption?
