Bon Jovi will soon roll with 30 Rock. Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Lopez are both set to appear on future episodes of How I Met Your Mother. In the latest trend of singers with an itch to act, who might hit the small screen next?
"Acting's another job," Rob Thomas told TV Guide Magazine at the Pre-Grammy Gala & Salute to Industry Icons with Clive Davis Party. "I really do only one job, but if someone came to me and said they were doing something like 'Fight Club' and it was shooting for five minutes and they were going to beat my !@# and I'd die. I'd say, 'I'm in.' I could do that. Or, says Thomas, "Jersey Shore! I wouldn't need to bring hair gel! I watched my first episode of Jersey Shore tonight. I started watching it and next thing I knew, I was transfixed on it and I couldn't stop. I was going, 'No! Don't do that to Snookie!'"
Reality television hit the right note for another vocalist too. "I love Real World vs Road Rules Challenge," laughed Ciara. "I'm a tomboy. I love the whole competitive sport thing. I'd like to go through some of those challenges."
"Are the Golden Girls still on? How about Seinfeld?" joked Tik Tok songstress Ke$ha. "Something with hot vampires and naked bodies would be fun!"
